Hello, there! My name is Kirsten Green and I am Visual Designer based in Washington, DC.
Flush - When I was a kid, I remember spending countless evenings sitting around the table with family trying to win a game of Crazy Eights or Hearts. It was these memories that really inspired the creation of this playing card game brand.
Garamond - After taking a design history course, I found myself particularly interested in the origins of type design. When given the opportunity to write about a typeface, I quickly dove into the history of Garamond by Claude Garamond, who is one of the founding fathers of this process.
Blue Water - One of my main roles at Blue Water was to assist with the agency’s rebranding campaign. After the identity was finalized, I was tasked to create various branded collateral for the team and clients.
American Lung Association
American Lung Association - While at Blue Water, I worked in depth with the Director of Web Design to create illustrations for a series of stop motion videos to help educate people facing lung cancer about their treatment options.
Letter Color Associations
Letter Color Associations - Inspired by synesthesia, a neurological phenomenon that often connects two or more sensory experiences, I wanted to see if people unconsciously associated certain colors with letters in the English alphabet.
Motion Graphics - This collection of projects takes traditionally static media and brings them to life by conveying meaning through the use of motion.
